The Magical Isle of Mull

Mull

So to get away from the stress of school my boyfriend and I journeyed to the isle of Mull with a tour group called Rabbies (Named after Robert Burns). I have toured with this company plenty of times before and have always enjoyed my time. I'm still a bit too young to get a car without having to pay crazy insurance fees and when you divide up the price per day this tour is about the same price as renting a car per day.

Mull is a beautiful island off the west coast of Scotland. There are lots of opportunities to learn about wildlife, plants and history.

Here is a view of the main town on Mull Tobermoray. We stayed in a nice bed and breakfast that over looked the town. This town had the best seafood in Scotland I have ever tried as of yet. The town also has very beautiful gift shops with things like homemade soaps, necklaces, paintings. I managed to find this cool magnifying glass with an antler handle :) COULDN'T SAY no to that.

Apparently the houses were painted with bright colors because it wards away evil spirits?? oooo Islander superstitions. I think it just looks beautiful and warm.
There was an excellent  distillery :) We went on a nice long tour and got to sample a few of their famous whiskeys.
When we went there was lots of yellow water Iris blooming. On the isle of Mull there are lots of picturesque photo opportunities with old boats :) <3
